Four Double Gold medals!
We had a historic performance at the prestigious Tasting Alliance Beer Competition. The Tasting Alliance Competition is the most influential international beer event; held in San Francisco each year. Breweries from around the globe compete on quality, taste, and experience in a blind style-agnostic competition judged by industry leaders, veterans, and tastemakers. Urban Artifact captured an unprecedented four Double-Gold medals, double that of any other brewery.
Double Gold medals were awarded for the following:
- Urban Artifact Gadget - Mixed Berry Midwest Fruit Tart
- Urban Artifact Peaches & Cream - Nitro Fruit Tart with Peaches
- Urban Artifact Sugar Plum - American Fruit Tart with Plums and Vanilla
- Urban Artifact Kilobyte - Midwest Fruit Tart with rare Golden Raspberries
Only thirty nine Double Gold medals were awarded in total and no other brewery took home more than two. Winning a Double Gold means that every judge within each subpanel gave the beer perfect marks. Additionally, Urban Artifact won a Gold medal for Teak, their Tropical American Fruit Tart, and a Silver medal for Pickle, the original Cucumber & Dill Pickle Beer.
