The Taproom
What are your taproom hours?
We're at 1660 Blue Rock Street in Northside, Cincinnati, and the phone is 513-542-4222.
- Monday: closed
- Tuesday through Thursday: 3pm to 11pm
- Friday: 3pm to midnight
- Saturday: noon to midnight
- Sunday: noon to 8pm
Does Urban Artifact have food?
We keep snacks at the bar, and you're welcome to bring your own food or order in from any of our Northside restaurant neighbors. Nobody here will mind, and a few of us will ask what you got.
Is your beer gluten free?
No. Every beer we make contains gluten. Our partner FRUITBLOOD makes gluten free fruit wines, and we pour those in the taproom.
Do you have non-alcoholic options?
Yes. Seedless is a Fruit Tart with the alcohol left out, and it comes in Mango and Strawberry. It drinks closer to a fruit soda than a beer, which is where we were aiming.
Is there live music?
Yes. Radio Artifact books the shows in our building, and the calendar is on the Events page.
Can I host a wedding or private event?
Yes. The Reliquary is our event space, and it hosts weddings and private events. Details and inquiries are at reliquary.events.
The Beer
What is a Fruit Tart?
A Fruit Tart is a beer built around the fruit, with the malt and the yeast chosen for their willingness to stand aside. The name tells you how much fruit went in, measured in pounds per gallon of finished beer. A Fruit Tart has under one pound, an American Fruit Tart has one to two, and a Midwest Fruit Tart has more than two. The Fruit Guide has the rest of the story.

When is my favorite seasonal coming back?
Each seasonal's page says when we expect it back, so start there. Some return every year, and some come through once and are gone for good. If you can't find a page for a beer you remember, it has most likely been retired.
What is the Quarterly Club?
The Quarterly Club is a box of our beer four times a year, in March, June, September and December. You can have it shipped or pick it up at the taproom, and members can add to their box before each release.
Do you sell THC beverages?
No. artifactbeer.com sells Urban Artifact beer and merchandise only.
