Four times a year we pack a box of Fruit Tarts, write a small book to go with it, and send it to your door. That is the whole arrangement.

- Jack, six pack. Seasonal American Fruit Tart.
- Bushel, six pack. Seasonal American Fruit Tart.
- Gadget, four pack. Core Midwest Fruit Tart.
- Fire Iron, four pack. Seasonal Midwest Fruit Tart.
- Dunk, six pack. Paw paw, from the Dino Series, and a Windfall, which means when the run is gone it is gone.
Twenty six cans, which is the generous end of a normal box.
What arrives
Five different products in every box, in a mix of four and six packs, which comes out to twenty cans or more. The lineup changes every quarter and leans on whatever is moving through the seasonal slot, so members see releases that never reach a shelf near them.
Every box ships with the Quarterly Book. It is not a spec sheet. It is tasting notes and stories about where the fruit came from and what we were thinking at the time, and it is the part members tell us they keep.
Boxes go out in March, June, September and December.
What it costs
Sixty dollars a box, fixed, plus tax and shipping. That is less than buying the same beer separately, which is how it was designed rather than a promotion we are running.
No membership fee, no signup cost, nothing else attached. You are paying for beer.
How it works
Nothing is charged in advance. Each release processes on its own, in the third week of the release month, and that is when you are billed. You are never carrying a balance with us, and you can leave whenever you want without unwinding anything.
Before a box processes there is a window where you can add anything currently in stock to that shipment. Members mostly use it for a second four pack of something they liked last time, and it saves on shipping either way.
Where we can ship
Beer shipping is licensed state by state and every licence costs real money to hold, so we hold the ones that earn their keep. Right now that is Oregon, Ohio, Kentucky, Vermont and Washington DC.
If you are somewhere else, taproom pickup is open to members. The box is packed and waiting at 1660 Blue Rock Street, and you skip the shipping cost entirely.
Questions
How long am I a member?
As long as you want to be. Cancel any time, and since nothing is prepaid there is nothing to refund or unwind.
Can I change what is in my box?
You can add to it. The five products are chosen by us. Anything else in stock can ride along in the same box, as long as you add it before the release processes.
Can I give a membership as a gift?
You can, with one thing worth knowing first. A membership is ongoing and tied to a card, and each account carries a single email address, which means whoever holds that address gets every notification about it. It goes best when the two of you have talked through who is running what. It also works well as a household arrangement, which is how a fair number of members treat it.
What if I need to skip one?
