Continuing on our peek behind the scenes: Let's meet Sean.
He's been with Urban Artifact since March 2022.
If you’ve ever walked into the taproom and found a perfectly stable table, enjoyed a seat in the courtyard around a well-tended fire pit, or attended a wedding in the Reliquary and respected the cobweb-free heights, you’ve experienced Sean’s work without realizing it.
Sean is our facility lead, maintenance tech, and shipping coordinator. While the brewing team is busy wrestling with fruit and fermentation tanks in the back, Sean is the one ensuring the front of house, the part you actually see and touch, is ready for the public.
Does that make Sean, the Artifact "Roadie"?
He makes sure the venue is sound, the gear is staged, and the experience is seamless. Tape in the dispenser, ice machine cleaned and running, beer cans stacked and ready.

The Taproom: In a historic building, entropy is constant. Chairs get wobbly, lightbulbs burn out, and draft lines need to be spotless. Sean is the one fixing the wobbly leg so you don't spill your Gadget, and changing the bulb so the vibe remains perfect.

The Fulfillment: When he’s not fixing the building, he’s moving the beer. Sean helps run the "Fulfillment" area, the critical step where finished cases are organized and prepped to go to the taproom retail space or get shipped to your door. If you got a package from us recently, Sean likely played a game of "shipping Tetris" to get it there safe.
Did you notice? You come here to relax. You come to our taproom to celebrate, learn, or relax. Sean’s job is to make sure nothing distracts you from that.

- Even though he carries a respectable set of keys, he's also a lockpicking enthusiast. Out of necessity and curiosity, of course!
