We Finally Made a List

For eleven years we made beer faster than we wrote any of it down. Labels got drawn, cans got filled, and the names piled up in a folder on a hard drive that nobody was brave enough to count.

This fall we counted. The answer is 396 beers and 129 variants, and we suspect it's low.

The Archive is the whole list in one place. It opens with the Midwest Fruit Tarts and runs on through the dinosaur bottles, the Epicurean beers built from soups and salads, the Halloween mystery packs whose flavors we still decline to reveal, and four years of Small Batch cans. The early taproom is in there too, from the years when we brewed a stout and an amber lager like a normal brewery would.

Some of what you'll find is pouring right now, and some is planned to return. Most of it is retired, and a few of those we miss more than we let on.

Over time each beer on the list gets an entry of its own, with the label, the fruit, and whatever of the story we can still reconstruct. Genni goes first.

We'd also like your help. The list was built from label files and memory, and both have holes in them. If you remember a beer that isn't here, or you have a can on a shelf that proves us wrong about one that is, email Scott. He kept the folder.
